Suggestions for different horror types?

I'm looking for some good horror movies that fit any of these categories. Suggestions for any or all types would be appreciated:

Time travel - (like The Butterfly Effect)
Anything involving the ability to go back in time or something with a Dejavu effect (repeating a day or event continually)

Body snatching - (like Wishmaster/Jason Goes to Hell)
Where the main villain/monster can take any form it wants or possess/duplicate other characters.

Scooby-Doo concept - (like Scream/My Soul to Take)
With a mystery killer where the audience has to guess who it is.

Elimination contests - (like House on Haunted Hill/Kill Theory)
Anything where characters are put into a "Kill or be Killed" situation, having to fight against each other until one is left standing. Or in a situation where they have to survive a night at a location and get picked off one by one.

Wishes - (like Wishmaster/The Outing)
Genies, birthdays, gypsies, anything where bad wishes come true.

Dream horror - (like Nightmare on Elm Street)

If you don't mind older movies, I like "Time After Time" with Malcolm MacDowell and Mary Steenburgen.

The Tenant was a good from the past film. Saw series is a good guess who the killer is.

Time travel/ deja vu:
  • Triangle
  • Probably not what you're looking for, but Irreversible is told in reverse order.

Body Snatching/duplicating:
  • The Thing (1982)

Scooby Doo:
  • Bay of Blood (60s), and I'm sure lots of other giallo

Elimination:
  • Battle Royale
  • Cabin in the woods

Dream horror:
  • Insidious had kind of a dream state thing, which I thought was kinda cheesy
  • The Fourth Kind has some good hypnosis scenes

Time travel -
Timecrimes (2007)

Elimination contests -
Exam (2009)
Hideo Nakata's The Incite Mill (2010) [Asian] (also falls into somewhat your Scooby-doo category)
Panic Button (2011)

Crappy but you can try the following films if you really 'love' this sort of Elimination contests-flicks: :D
Death Tube (2010) [Asian]
Would you rather (2012)
Vile (2011)
Nine Dead (2010)

Time Travel=
WARLOCK small magical time travel thing, (I personally liked WARLOCK 2 better.)

BODY SNATCHING =
DREAMCATCHER

SCOOBY DOO =
CRY WOLF

ELIMINATION CONTEST =
1.) HOUSE OF WAX (more of a survive the night thing, or get out of dodge.)
2.) SEE NO EVIL

WISHES =
THINNER

DREAM HORROR =
1.) BRAINSCAN
2.) LAWNMOWERMAN

( not sure if Brainscan falls in this category it has kind of a hypnosis thing going on. I would recommend this out of all of these ones. cause I'm pretty sure you have seen the others and probably even this one.)

Time Travel: I easily think of Donnie Darko and Army of Darkness but you probably know/have seen both.
Maybe you haven't heard of 12 Monkeys

Body Snatching: obviously -Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Thing, The Faculty, They Live!, and They Came From Within (Shivers)

Scooby Doo: *some of these are more crime/psychological thrillers but I feel like they can be horrifying as well. * My absolute favorite is Se7en! You've most likely seen it but if not there's always the suggestion :) others-Shutter Island, Stir of Echoes, The Others, From Hell, Secret Window, Zodiac, Deep Red, Copycat.

On Elimination contests and Wishes others have already listed what I thought of.

Dream Horror: Bad Dreams, Paperhouse, Close your Eyes, Stay, and Awake

Hope you find some ones you like :D
