Wow I google image searched the drug, pretty graphic. Given any thought to just making this a documentary? Might be just as effective scare-wise.

i did at first but for one thing it would mean going over there and russia are not friendly to people making docs on drugs over there, they're trying to suppress it as much as possible

This would be a big selling point for the film. You would join the ranks of Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, etc.

true, we're sorta going for a film about friendship and loyalty until the horror gut punches you in the last 1/4. thanks for the interest though

There already is a documentary about this actually on Vice. If you look up Krokodil in Youtube, you'll find it. Its scary scary stuff.
