Original "Nightmare on Elm Street" house up for sale
 

A Los Angeles realtor has announced that the house where Wes Craven filmed the original 1984 A Nightmare on Elm Street – and fictional home to the film's heroine Nancy Thompson (Heather Langenkamp) and her onscreen family – is now on the market.


A cool $2.1 million will get you into this sweet and totally-not-cursed property in Hollywood suburb Spaulding Square, which was bought in 2006 by current owner Angie Hill and renovated from the ground up.

That would be fantastic, we'd turn it into a real nightmare house :D

No way would I want to live in that house. Even if the movie isn't real. A few strong drinks and crazy thoughts are bound to happen.

My mind would be playing tricks on itself all night if I lived there. It would probably turn me INTO Freddy :P

I need to buy this with my non existent husband! Get a puppy and pop out a hellion and I would call my life complete.

It would be a cool house to do a haunted house in. You could be one of those weird Sherlock homes mystery plays but do it about nightmare on elm street. Also, you wouldnt have those annoying relatives wanting to stay with you because they'd be too scared of freddy getting them.

I would love to live here even though I would be a lil creeped out sometimes
