Sally begs her mother to follow her, pleas through her mother's drowning sorrow. Nothing will separate the dutiful wife from the loyal husband. Sally takes the babe in her arms, leading her siblings away from the devastation. Instead of a plan, Sally brings a prayer. A prayer for salvation. A prayer soon lost.
The soldiers' horses approach the ritual site, bones bleached by the sun. They offer the dust-covered girl food, she refuses, replying, "I don't care for food anymore."
Eh? Eh? ;D It's short and gobbledygook (holy shit, that's a word).
