After moving into his new home he discovers a box of old home movies that depict previous families that lived in the house as well as their murders. As Ellison looks further into the mystery behind the tapes, he discovers that the murders all have ties to a supernatural deity known only as "Bagul". Thanks, nifty promotion tool. Is this movie going to make it to the states before Halloween?

It comes out Oct. 5

It is solid and creepy, but not as scary as V/H/S

Really want to see V/H/S. I've read that a lot of people have already seen it, but for some reason it's not on NetFlix yet.
At the top of my queue though.

might have to watch that v.h.s,i know it wont be very scary though coz every time someone says a movie is the scariest or best movie ever they are setting themselves up for failure

I'm actually really looking forward to this one as well as V/H/S. I'm such a sucker for the "found footage" style. Not sure if I'll fork out the money to go to the theater (audiences are so incredibly rude nowadays that I can barely stand it), but I'll definitely check it out when it hits Netflix.

Hope that it winds up being one of the better ones.

I really can't wait for this movie. Not because I think it'll be the best thing ever, but because it looks fun as hell.
