Watchers
Phantoms Midnight Lightning Darkfall I read the bad place, but didnt like it as much as i thought i would. |
I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned Strangers. This was the first Koontz book I ever read, and it was awesome. I'm not much of a Koontz fan, but a few of his that I really did like are:
Strangers (obviously :D) Dragon Tears The Bad Place Twilight Eyes And I seem to recall that I really liked the one about the superintelligent dog --- was that Watchers?? It was years ago that I read it, so I'm not sure if I've got the right title. I haven't read any of his more recent work, so maybe he's gotten less predictable in the last few years? My mother-in-law just ordered Life Expectancy --- guess I'll have to borrow that one when she's done. Has anyone else read that one yet, and was it any good? |
I've only read a few of his (Strangers, watchers, coldfire, key to midnight an hideaway). and out of the ones i've read my list is:
(1) Strangers, Watchers (I know i've cheated but it's impossiable to decide which book gets the number one spot) (2) Hideaway (3) Cold Fire (4) Key to midnight |

Intensity Watchers This is another author who has still not had a top quality version of his work put into film. When you think of all the crap thrillers that Hollywood keeps churning out it seems such a shame that the excellent product Koontz consistently puts out isn't taken advantage of by moviemakers. |
yea i agree challenger. i think movies based on "Midnight" and Twighlight eyes" would be very interesting !
