Literary Villains

Obviously by my name you can tell that i love Villains. Lately, with the exception of Under The Dome, i haven't read a book with a really good iconic villain. The kind of villain that you love to read about, that you remember after you're done with the book. The kind of villain that makes the heroes great by being such a formidable foe.

So i was hoping all of you could give me some suggestions of books with great villains.

I enjoyed the book "The Exorcist" You can't get a more epic villian than that.

Never read the book. I'll have to check it out. Thanks

No problem. It really is a great book. It goes into much more detail about the way the family is effected.

I just finished HORROR: THE 100 BEST BOOKS edited by Stephen Jones and Kim Newman and if you have access to it at your library or you own it, check it out. It's packed with really evil bad guys. The most memorable is Breer, the Razor Eater in Clive Barker's THE DAMNATION GAME. Makes me want to read it.
