Fuckin' FireWire

I bought a firewire card but when I install it, my videocard won't work. I take the firewire card out and it's fine. I've been trying to get it to work all day.

Anybody know what the problem could be?

talking about irq and memory resourses, does the pc boot at all with the card (you just say the vdeocard doesn't work)

It's boots up but there is no signal from my videocard to my monitor.
