Minecraft

So I've seen some "trailers".
Bloody terrible looking...though I understand.
However, it looks like it might be an interesting time killer.

I wanted to try it out, but I don't know what website to get it from.
The site www.minecraft.com doesn't seem to be working.

Is it a paid game, or?

Yep, you buy it as a digital download. When I bought it I think it was like 9 pounds but that was in alpha and it's gone up since then. Great game though, especially when you find a multiplayer server you like. I found myself enjoying the single player a lot though, it's got this really cool "last man on Earth" vibe goin' for it.

I have had Minecraft for a while. It was quite a bit of fun. You start out without any instructions and have to learn how to make things to improve your progress. Make a shelter to protect yourself from monsters, make a sword, make a pick-axe to mine with, stuff like that.

You can make quite elaborate structures and create a mini world.

I did get a bit bored with it after a while, though. Never really played multi-player. Maybe that would extend the interest a bit.

So it's not like runescape with a free version?
How much does it cost if not?

I think you can still play an older version in a browser for free if you register.

Otherwise, it costs 20 euros to buy.
