Richard Laymon's In The Dark.

I just got into it a few days ago and...it's slow. It's not completely tedious but it's slow. I'm currently on the chapter where Jane meets Babe at the Paradise bar to receive further instructions from MOG. Hopefully the book's premise will hit its stride soon, otherwise I'm just forcing myself through this title.

Yeah it's the one. I just finished it last night, but it wasn't totally satisfying. Hopefully, his other books have better pacing in the story quality. Now I'm on Koji Suzuki's "Spiral".:D
