Hello

Hi everyone.

I have only really been a Horror fan since Fall 2010. Before that, from when I was about ten until I turned twenty-two it was pretty much all Fantasy literature for me.

I am more of a Horror Book and Video Game fan than a Horror movie fan, but I still do enjoy Horror movies.

The first Horror book I read was Pet Semetary. I really enjoyed it and I still consider it the best Horror novel I have read so far.

Welcome to the forum. You should check out more by King. I actually didnt like Pet Semetary all that much, at least not compared to his other work.

Yeah, I am going to start The Dark Half soon. I have read some of his other works like Bag of Bones and The Girl who loved Tom Gordon, and Skeleton Crew and Danse Macabre.:D

The Dark Half is really good. My favorite from him is IT. I also really liked The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. It was different for him but a really good story.

I have been wanting to read It for a while now. I will have to get a copy soon. The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon was cute in a way. I really felt bad for Trisha, but I also found myself engrossed in the scenery she was walking through. I think King really knows how to paint a picture for the reader.

Yeah he really does. That's one thing i love about his writing. The first horror novel i ever read was actually The Tommyknockers. That's another good one.

Not only that, but I think he is excellent at character development. He can develop a character to a point where the reader really cares about what happens to that character, and can feel a sense of camaraderie with the character in many instances.

I actually feel that this is especially true in some of his older works.

BTW, welcome to the forum.
