Horror films involving witches

One of the most nightmarish cinematic experiences of the 60s was Black Sunday with the terrifying Barbara Steele. And needless to say, one of the finest horror films ever made.

Some other notable ones...

Sleepy Hollow
Haxan: Witchcraft through the Ages (documentary)
Suspiria
Inferno
Mother of Tears
Witchfinder General
The Craft
The Witches of Eastwick
Drag Me to Hell
Silent Hill
The Blair Witch Project
Book of Shadows: Blair Witch II

Any others?

Ooo, nice. This will be great. I can't think of any other ones right now because I'm super tired. Looking forward to some ones I've never seen.

Don't know if Witchfinder General counts, since the witches in the film were not actually witches, but innocent people accused of witchcraft.

Here is a very helpful list:

This list for some inexplicable reason leaves out this IMPORTANT film!

Its missing The Undead (the Corman film ) too.

Also:

The Pit and Pendulum (the Stuart Gordon version).

Curse of the Crimson Altar

Bell, Book, and Candle

Macbeth (polanski among others)

Blood on Satan's Claw

Bell, Book and Candle is there- listed under F for some reason.

I wouldn't really call that a horror movie though.

I've never seen it but I think George Romero's second film was about witches, and it's called Season Of The Witch (or sometimes it goes by the name, Jack's Wife)

I think there's been a few film adaptations of Macbeth and that has witches. Not really horror though.

Not to mention The Wizard Of Oz (which horror film or not, can be a little scary.)

EDIT: Sorry, third film. Damn you There's Always Vanilla!
Also, is Witchfinder General a film about witches? I always thought the whole point was thry weren't or at least may not be witches and that Hopkins was just using it as an excuse to kill people.

There was also a Hammer film called The Witches.

You are correct - its about women falsely accused of Witchcraft.
