Challenge: Name this horror film-with Prize
 

Hi I've been into horror movies for most of my life, but I can't figure out one of the first horror films I saw with my cousins because it was so long ago. So please help me.

Clues:
It's definitely a movie made after 1970 and before 2000.
Near the beginning of the movie a woman is in front of a house and she sees a gargoyle statue and then a car explodes.
And the child of that woman is in it too. I think the child is haunted by something because then other people come to the house and paranormal things happen.
