So, I finally got around to playing right through Deus Ex after owning it for over a year...good game IMO...I saw that the 2nd game came out a while back, so I ordered it.
So I install Deus Ex 2 - Invisible War, and when I start the game up, I get a black screen, the kind that let's you know somethings fucked from the get-go...I have to "3-key" the game, and when it shuts down, I get a message that says the game needs a videocard with "pixel shader 1.1 or greater capabilities"...you'd think they would make it so you could play it with a GeForce 4, right??
Wrong.
Can't be done.
What kind of stupid fuck made that decision??
Again - FUCK THIS SHIT.

So then, I guess if it comes down to it, I gotta get a new card - any reccomendations??

That IS bullshit, damn is the Gforce 4 becoming outdated now?WTF?

I had read that Deus Ex 2 had some kinda new effects technology, but damn....GeForce 4, yknow???
I really wanna play the bitch too.
All I'm gonna say is that if I buy a new card, at least it should be able to keep up with doom 3 and HalfLife 2 when they eventually come out....

Go with a radeon (ATI) I have a 9600, and it still kicks ass.
