Candyland - Feature Film released in 2012
 

Shoot LA CREW is releasing an independent psychological thriller titled CANDYLAND in 2012. It's based on Elizabeth Engstrom's novel of the same name. She is famous for the Lizzy Bordon novel and other dark, sexually charged thrillers.

This film looks freaking intense and judging from Elizabeth Engstrom's work, it won't just be some teenagers running around screaming. It's gonna be some pretty scary, deep, shit.

I like the website!

The Trailer was very freaky. The opening three images were very effective. It defiantly creeped me out.

I think the premise is amazing. It's something that I've been playing around with in my head a lot lately; the idea that our lust and passion could end up controlling us and not the other way around. It's a scary to think that we could become so wrapped up in lust that we can no longer exist as ourselves, we become lust monsters!

Also, along the same lines, the idea that love is such an impossible thing to find, that when you finally find it then you absolutely cannot lose it! The lust for love.

It's all very intriguing!

I'm excited to see it!
