Portlandia

This is a new sitcom on the IFC based on life in the quirky city I call home. It's entirely created and produced in Portland. It's been big news here for quite some time, and now the first episode has aired. I have to say I haven't laughed as much or as hard since the last time I watched Raising Arizona, but then again, I understand all the in jokes.

Just wondering if anyone has seen it, and what you thought. If you get the IFC, it's available On Demand by your cable provider. Recommended to Chrono, Miss M or anyone else with a young irreverent outlook.

First episode also has a guest spot by a quintessential Portland icon....

Reading the comments on the first episode is as funny as the show itself... it seems as if the hipsters in Portland are too hip for tv, but wish they could watch it online... :p

LOL

The dream of the 90s is alive in Portland...

Ok, I don't really get it because I've never been to Portland... But this opening sketch is making me laugh out loud... And now I want to go to Portland.
