I used to have them a lot, now not as much. It's the same every time though. I can't move or scream, I can hardly breathe and it feels like someone or something is sitting right on my chest.

It scared me a lot more before I found out what it was.

at first i was thinking you may need meds, but this sounds like panic attacks

obviously its not the same, but the same principal. heady type shit.

doesnt soudn too fun though! but your alive so i guess it cant be that bad....

LOL, its nothing to do with panic attacks! and I don't need meds its just sleep paralysis its not scary cause it can kill you, its just scary 'cause your brain has woken up and your body cant move. Many sufferers get the same experience of an old hag in the room who comes over and sits on your chest. Its made me feel like I had out of body experiences before and lots of other crazy shit!

anyway. i guess it will be fun when u get married. how about u not tell ur wifey that would be koooool

sounds unhappy but lucky me ive never had it!

Angelakillsluts 04-24-2004 09:54 PM

....

Do you know what your body does while you sleep? Basically sleep paralysis is waking up when your body still thinks you're asleep. The extreme pressure on your chest is caused by attempting to breathe deeply, which is a natural response when you realize you can't fucking move.
