Who's watched Paranormal Activty 2?

I watched it how it's SUPPOSED to be watched, in the dark... alone. I think the only people bashing this film are people who watched it at the cinema or with the light on.

I thought it was a nice prequel but didn't understand the ending.

Opinions?

I dug it... PM me what you didn't understand and I think I can clear it up for ya. :)

I'm thinking of going to see it at the drive in tonight, i haven't even seen the first one. But it's the only horror movie showing tonight.

Then you too might be confused with the ending as the movie is MOSTLY a prequel but also part sequel...

I had a good time and enjoyed being scared a few times. I like the first one better though, but that's mostly based on how I feel about the endings.

Horror enthusiasts that want horror so much in this lacking day and age that they even cling onto mediocre garbage like it were a sacred safety blanket.

Just me poking fun there...but seriously, I HATED the first one...I just don't do films of this style, and find it jarring to watch something that looks like it's been shot cheaply, intentionally or otherwise.
The second one I've obtained, had a quick look at it...seems pretty dire to me...
Personally if I have to watch films like this, I'd rather the relatively unknowns to the b-listers like that sprague whatever-the-fuck-her-name-is chick, I've thought she was terrible in just about everything I've ever witnessed her in.

Probably looks even cheaper when you steal crappy versions of it.

No it's all good, see, this way...when the guy holding the camera moves, and people stand up and sit down occasionally, something actually happens.
Free.

Besides, I saw a real version of the first one...my initial statement on quality was based on that, it's more the intended style I have a problem with.

The basement scene. I think nuff said there. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED. But other than that I thought it was mediocre.
