http://a.imageshack.us/img841/2690/l...ieldawakei.jpg If you are fed up of the spate of 'tweenage' romantic vampire flicks, then this is going to take you back to the glorious days of the old Hammer Horror vampire flicks, complete with gore, boobs, insane vampires, and mutant undead, all done with today's cutting edge SFX and horror FX (courtesy Facades FX - Team Nichols), directed by industry veteran Bob Willems, and with a score by the renowned Jeff Walton. It was my pleasure to be cast as the lead hero in this movie, playing the British Detective Paul Cranston, on loan from Interpol helping the Bayou City Police Dept. catch the 'Bayou City Butcher'. Check the above listed IMDB page for full cast details. The movie is currently in the final stages of post-production, and received a unique invitation from the prestigious International Bram Stoker Film Festival to be premiered at their annual event in Whitby, England, UK in October this year. http://www.bramstokerfilmfestival.com/buytickets.php A U.S. premiere is scheduled shortly thereafter. Here is the short synopsis from the press release: COUNT DRACULA! We have all seen television shows and movies of the age-old Dracula story. However, have you ever wondered, is that the whole story? Looks b grade. Now don't take that as a insult. If i didn't live in a hick country town. (which means we only get main stream releases at the cinema) I would go see it. The Vampires look evil. Good to see a cross having a effect on a vampire for a change. That tells me it's a vamp story that is more traditional in plot. Which are my favs. So sick of all this emo vampire shit.
Just a ? Was the dude who came up with the look of the vampire in the first pic a fan of salem's lot? |
Looks interesting, I'll definitely have to check this out.
