80's Obscure movies

Anyone ever seen Death By Dialouge from 1987? That'll be on my top 20 movies for the Fall season!

More Obscure/Rocktober Blood

Anyone else think this little gem is awesome from 1984? One of my fave obscure horror films.

Yeh I like Rocktober Blood a lot.

This isn't totally obsure but i do think its' one of the most under rated 80's horror..

Agree. Always love that poster also.

Isn't this the one where the guy looks exactly like Jason?

RainbowEyes84 07-22-2010 09:37 AM

Rocktober Blood is quite obscure considering a lot of people have never seen this or heard of it. And considering the cheapest it's selling is at a whopping $112.00! If I went up to someone and said "hey remember Billy Eye"? They'd most likely be like "who? what"?!

Final Exam 81'(another fave slasher of mine), it isn't considered obscure, but the fact that it's OOP, which is unbelievably a crying shame, it's become a rare obscurity for those who have never seen it, and sadly won't ever know it exists because people shamely put this gem OOP!

Elvis_Christ 07-22-2010 06:48 PM

Never checked out Final Exam which is slack of me. It's a shame when discs go out of print and fetch stamp collector prices. Kicking myself for not picking up the Savage Streets disc because its fucking expensive now. But shit being OOP never stops people from seeing it in this day and age.

You guys seen Shock 'em Dead? I've always liked that one.

Trick or Treat is a blast too

Yeah...I have seen SHOCK'EM DEAD lately and it was a blast of fun. Highly enjoyed it.

Elvis...you can check the following youtube links/channels...first one even has the FINAL EXAM uploaded in 9 parts.

RetroSlasherMovies

Though I haven't start to watch these movies (subscribed to check later) but I think those guys are doing an awesome job by uploading these 80's rare & less discussed films on an easily accessible site like youtube where fans around the world at least get a chance to watch them now. :)

I haven't seen Shock Em'Dead, but I have seen Trick or Treats! TOT's is a must-see for Skippy AKA Mark Price fans. I always loved the scene where he was playing his record backwards, and his mom knocks on the door and startles him. and he quotes, "can't anyone f****ing knock around here". I think that was what he said or at least close.

hey I have been trying to add photos of movies, VHS cover art on my posts, but it says the file fails!

Be sure to check out Final Exam!

here's another awesome one
