Horror Meditation Groups!

Yeah, okay, so, I had this idea. How about creating a "horror and meditation retreat" kind of thing, you know, make it available to people, especially paying people, and a bunch of people they sort of, uh, get together at a place, and then they watch some scary horror movies, and the watching of the movies is sort of mediated by a "guide," and when everyone is good and scared, then it becomes this spiritual/new age meditation exercise, with relaxing music and subdued lighting.

And then, after everyone is relaxed, having contemplated and looked within and suchlike, then, everyone watches a scary movie again and gets scared. And then back to meditation/contemplation. For about six hours. For about six hundred dollars, per person.

And there would be, like, a cat sitting on a couch somewhere.

Could there also be a talking bird?

I'm gonna need a lot of pot.

I don't think that's such a bad idea. I've done Jungian active imagination exercises while watching Vampyr and came up with some great stuff.

Vampyr, really? All that movie made me do was chew on a hangnail and sniff my armpits every now and then.

You missed a lot.

We are talking about this movie, right?

Not a bad idea *lol*....you should patten that idea if it's not already pattened. Make it an globalize the whole thing and have franchises of "Horror and Meditation Retreat". :)

No, if we meant Hollywood Vampyr, we would have said Hollywood Vampyr. We're talking about one of the landmarks of silent cinema, Carl Dreyer's Vamyr:

I could see something like that working but i think it would be only to a rather "particular" group.
