Mercury Rising!

Finally I have cracked!

After 2 and a bit years in Scotland and now back to an Australian summer I just want it to end. It was fun at first, but the thing is it started getting over 30dc in November, and the next week is all diagnosed as 30+.

The past 2 years I have spent this season mainly indoors or outside in sub zero temperatures, and on top of that my flat has no air con. I just have a circulatory fan in my room. Mercury rising, my brain is bubbling!

Hopefully it doesn't reach the heights of last month when we had our hottest night in Melbourne for more than 100 years, I couldn't go to bed, the mattress was to hot.

I might strip of naked and run all the way to St Kilda beach soon!

Sounds lovely... Here it's cold 'n snowy.

Wish I could go to the beach. :(

I'm not a person for the heat. Not much I can do to help, though...

Run an ice cool bath.

Same here. I hate New England. I'll take Australia any day.

Seattle weather has been perfect this winter. It's good to have my NW normal dreariness back.

Isn't that where they have the huge face on the entrance to an old amusement park or something?

Luna Park, the roller coaster is so old you feel like you are going to die at every turn.
