Sucked ass.

Thought it lacked everything you just mentioned, except for the story and settings.

Especially the scares didn't work for me at all. Couldn't stand any of the characters.


Stephen King should stay the hell away from the producer seat and stick to just writing novels and short stories. That'd be nice.

I just thought it was a bad movie. Has nothing to do with the length.

I thought "Storm of the century", "The Stand" and "The langoliers" sucked as well.

The only long Stephen King movie i really liked was "Salems Lot" 1979. And i REALLY liked that one, all thanks to Tobe Hoopers direction. Found the remake disappointing as hell.
