Urbanoia

What does this term mean, exactly?

I have some idea of what it means but its pretty confusing. Does it come under urban hostile environment? Urban violence? Panic of living in the city?

Would First Blood (the first Rambo film), Straw Dogs, Falling Down be good examples of this kind of atmosphere in films?

Are there any such people as urbanoiacs?

Google doesn't show anything useful. Trade mags have carried this term a lot though. Need some clarification, if there is any.

Not so sure about that, NE...urbanoia refers to urban characters in rural horror film-settings?

Are we talking something like backwoods horror light, such as Ils or Eden Lake?

In terms of horror films, that's the way it's always been used. Urban characters come to the country and get their come-uppance for their transgression.
