the thaw

the thaw is nothing but a cheap knockoff of john carpenters the thing.only this time its parasites that invade peoples bodys. it stars val kilmer as a scientist. NO ACTION AT ALL. VERY DULL MOVIE:mad:

I didn't mind this one to be honest. I liked the themes of activisim crossing the line. Sure its a lot like The Thing but at least it wasn't a remake and brought a few new elements to the table. Low key and subtle but still an effective film IMO.
