What's the last dream that you remember?

I know someone posted an "Analyze My Dream" thread a while back, but I think I'll start a new one...

My dreams are becoming more and more vivid recently for some reason. Possibly because of the increasing stress of the holiday season.

I've recently had recurring dreams about my teeth becoming loose and then falling out. I'm now obsessed over what it "means." What the HELL does it mean that I'm dreaming about my teeth falling out?? Do you even buy into the concept of dreams having meaning?

The other night I dreamed that I was in a haunted cabin where there was an invisible entity taking over everyone and my boyfriend and I were cornered in a bedroom trying to escape... They caught us but I pretended to be possessed as well (which was stressful because this little kid COULD TELL I WAS FAKING - your whole eyes turn black you see) while we stalled until help came.

So let's talk about dreams, nightmares, hallucinations, whatever. I love this kind of stuff. Do you remember your dreams often? Do you have vivid dreams? Can you control yourself in your dreams? Do you believe that there's some kind of underlying meaning? What are your thoughts/experiences?

I dont remember even a single image from my dreams after I wake up. I sleep like a log.

Overdosed on District 9, maybe?

A girl I work with was accepted into a program that assembled classes at a special school by traveling through time and picking up specially selected people. Somebody from further into the future came back and told us she was going to die in a fire that happened on graduation night along with all the other students. Myself and a bunch of other people I know had to break the rules and sneak into this heavily guarded school to rescue her.

I wish I could answer this thread, because recently I had 2 vivid dreams that were quite odd, and I remembered them after I woke up, and thought about them for a while. They're gone now, though.

I often have dreams about my teeth falling out or just becoming soft and loose...I also have a dream where IM in the water and I see a shark fin but I can't scream or swim away.

That depends on the specifics of the dream:

Loose teeth = False friends - Be careful, someone close to you could hurt you

Rotten teeth = Failing health - See a doctor for a check-up, or just be prepared for a possible illness

Teeth falling out (or spit out) = Financial reverses - If you have been doing well financially, things could start becoming difficult...If you haven't been doing so well financially, things will start getting better.

Yes...Subconscious portends...Possible warnings

This could simply be a 'replay dream' with no meaning other than 'You watch a lot of horror movies' :p...Nothing seems to be unusual in this dream, but if you were truly frightened and feeling trapped (woke up with accelerated heartbeat, trembling or crying), it could mean that you literally feel trapped in a situation (could be work-related, financial, family-related, pretty much anything)...Just something you feel like you have no control over...The fact that you expected 'help' to come, means that whichever type of dream it was, it wasn't bad...If it was a 'literal dream', the problem that it represents will resolve before too long, and you know that (which is why you felt that help would come).

Yes, and I can also dream about whatever I want to...I was teaching Bobby Calabrese how to do this, too...But, he had a really hard time relaxing, then concentrating, which makes it difficult.

Sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't...It depends on the type of dream.

My maternal grandmother was a dream interpreter (she was also a scorpio)...Scorpios can do this, whether they are aware of it or not...And anyone can control their dreams if they learn how, and practice, but it comes easier for scorpios...Bobby Calabrese is a scorpio, too, unfortunately the scorpio impatience got in his way...I told him not to give up, so hopefully has gotten it by now...I haven't heard from him in a couple of years.

Scorpios are also supposed to be able to read tea leaves, but I have never tried :p

I still have my grandmother's old dream books (passed down from scorpio to scorpio :))...That was where I got the information that I gave you about the 'teeth' meaning.

If something unusual or 'out of place' occurs in a dream, that's usually a message to you...The things that stick out the most to you personally, would determine the meaning.

Buy yourself a few dream dictionaries - Only look for the things that really stand out, are unusual, and/or keep recurring.

Example - Purple goose in your front yard:

1)If you own a goose and your favorite color is purple, this means nothing.

2) If you recently saw a painting, watched a movie, read a book, or were just thinking of something that included a purple goose in it, this means nothing.

3) If you have no reason to think of geese, and a purple goose seems absurd to you...Look up 'goose' and 'purple'...Put those things together, and see what you come up with...It's actually kinda fun, sorta like breaking a coded message.

OH, and about my last dream...Haha, you really don't wanna hear about that :p

Heh, controlling myself in dreams has always been fairly easy (in fact, when I have good dreams it's easy to go back to sleep hours later and be in the same spot I was when I last woke up). Whoddathunk it was a Scorpio thing?

Myself and my chick were in the second storey of an unfamiliar building.
I was shooting "creatures" that were surrounding the place with a bow/arrow, and some kind of harpoon.
The creatures were up until a point without features and faceless, in fact I don't even think I "saw" them at all. The girl looked outside with some binoculars (long way up, second storey) and said I'd been doing really well at wiping them out - though I cannot remember the specific act of actually shooting them, just that it had happened.
Then three of the creatures came in and then they had features. I had the bow drawn on one of them. They were small black dog-like creatures with oversized ears, they just came up and greeted me and then lay down...I felt as though for some reason I still had to remove them but did not shoot them as they were undeniably friendly...I took an arrow and poked one with it, then the thing just started playing with it - that's one segment.

In another dream I was in a small rowboat with a friend...I have many dreams in which I'm traversing water, and always the same thing happens, the thing somehow sinks or I fall out. In this case I was adjusting my position so I could row better and I knocked us both out into this filthy ass bay...in my mind it stunk like all fuck...then, when I was drying off, different scene came along. I was responsible for somebody killing themselves by something I said.
Some red haired guy.
I guess I was in some trouble, news reporters etc were milling around...just as I was about to get taken away missiles were fired in the distance but in clear view...going up from one point to another, then missiles were fired back, like....little rocket type things...but they were destroying all around us.
I escaped and went into a building. A relatively well known newsreader chick from here walked in evidently there to cover one of the "stories" then she stripped off and asked if I'd like to shower with her.
She's blonde, and the carpets didn't match the drapes.
I could've stood for the dream to go on a little longer, but that was the end.
This was her: http://www.ecorazzi.com/wp-content/u...andrasully.jpg
Though strangely enough I've never actually thought of her in that way...not that she's unattractive or anything, but she's old enough to be my mother, I mean sure, I guess if it came down to it I'd hit it...hm...

My animals always go missing in my dreams, recurring theme.

I had a dream about a week ago. It started with me accidentally running over a clone my friend had made of himself, the clone being only a toddler at this point. I don't know what happened for a while after then, but then I looked into the sky and saw a large aeroplane. It was very close to the ground and one of it's wings fell off - it eventually crashed right in front of me.

Last night I had another dream where a plane crashed and the rubble stopped right in front of me. This doesn't bode well for my next holiday....

That means you're gay...or whatever BR says...I don't go in for dreams being symbolic really, perhaps indicative somehow of what's on one's mind but in my opinion they are in no way predictive.
