HDC Chooses: Best Superhero Performance Of This Decade

This could either turn out to be a one-horse race, but still it might turn out to be interesting...in a comparative way.

So, which one was it?

Need to add Ray Stevenson's version of Frank Castle..

Voted for Norton. He just sums up Banner for me, I think he got it perfect. I don't think Bale gives Wayne any emotion or feeling. He's just a blank canvas. And then there's that god awful voice when he dons the mask. I'm starting to miss...Val Kilmer.

I went with Hellboy, but seriously Jackie Earl Haley as Rorshach should count as a super hero.

Christian Bale. He had so many parts to play, young Bruce Wayne, Bruce Wayne the prisoner, Bruce Wayne in public, Bruce Wayne with Alfred, Lucius, and Rachel, and Batman. He did them all wonderfully and there wasn't a damn thing wrong with the voice.

I have to agree with the latter there, though I went with Ironman. It was a tough decision between Ron Pearlman and Downy Jr., but I have to give credit to Mr. Downy on this one... I'm just loving his comeback with every blockbuster he makes.

Not to insult Pearlman... He just... never left the eye of the cult.

So in a way I guess I'm siding more with the "deserved" award here, which generally bothers me, but that's OK.

And as Newb said, YES I am really psyched for the next one. Looking forward to a good blockbuster.

Agree, except I'm voting Tony Downy Jr. Stark - Iron Man.
