Paul Anderson said they will be using animitronics(spelling?) instead of cgi, which is great news imo:)

Great thread...thanks for posting it. It looks like that movie is gonna kick some major ass...the predator looks good as shit. they refered to the alien as the hero alien. I wonder if thats the way the're taking it

"hero" is a term used on certain props in a movie, which means they are the ones seen the most such as that alien. My friend thought the same thing you thought :D

ohhh right on thanks for clearing that up. I was gonna say if either should be the "hero" it should be the predators. No doubt there will be some humans running around trying not to get devoured amongst the carnage

looks good, so glad they're using animatronics, technology in this area has come on leaps and bounds and looks far better than graphics.
