Dreamcatcher

What did you all think?? I thought it had an originial story, with a couple of twists. But i like just about anything Stephen King.

I was seriously disappointed by this film. I kept waiting for it to pick up and catch my interest, but it never did. I usually find Stephen King scarier, or at least, creepier, but not in Dreamcatcher.

Perhaps, however, I had my hopes up too high. I mean, Stephen King+Jason Lee+Morgan Freeman seemed like a very promising movie...

How about Christine, Pet Sematary and Cujo?? Pretty decent movies. Thanks for your input Macabre Maiden, I always like to hear what people think. If you have anymore thoughts please chime in.

Dreamcatcher was great. At the end where the two monsters fought was awesome.

I think it started off well, with lots of atmosphere and good acting, the scene with the animals fleeing was truly awesome, I was all wtf! Even when the military got involved I was intrigued, but then came the onslaught of CGI and I just lost all interest.

I really liked it, and I don't care who knows it ...Okay, so it wasn't one of his best...
But...Considering that he has already done EVERYTHING...Maybe I'm just a bit impressed by the fact that he is still coming up with new ideas, after so many years...It certainly isn't any worse than MOST of the recent "horror offerings" currently available...I think that maybe you guys are being just a bit too critical...Of course, that's just my opinion...and an attempt to defend my personal, all-time favorite author
BTW...My kids absolutely LOVED it and watched it 3 times in the same day...They did the same thing with "Green Mile":)

It's cool...I wasn't referencing you, granitemonkey...There are quite a few people who have been extremely critical of this movie in general...That is what I was referring to...And, of course people can always be as critical as they like...Everyone has a right to their opinion..I was simply stating my own, as well:) ...
