A New Perspective.....
 

Well last week I had to take a physical since I'll be in Track. A few days had passed and my doctor had called and asked if I was able to come in again and do one more test on me, so I was like...ok, whatever.

So this time it wasn't another physical as I thought it would have been. All he did was draw blood and that was it. Well Sunday night my mom came up to my room crying and she said the doctor called...and I was like..so?

My mom then explained to me that I've been tested positive for HIV.

I was reluctant on posting this, but I figured it should be fine.

I'm just kind of pissed because the doctor never told me what he was doing the second test for; but then again, I never asked.

A disease which expells the weak.......

Well im sorry to hear this Evisceration. My words might fall on deaf ears and all I can do Is ask that you hear me out. I've never had HIV or any other life threatening disease but I'm here for you. If you ever want to talk about it let me know. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Try to keep your head up and beat the fuck out of this shitty disease.

Just remember, it's not a death sentence, although it feels like it, I'm sure. I have known a couple ppl who have lived with it for years, and are still living with it. It's a change in lifestyle. I am here if you want to talk....although I may not have the answers you are looking for.
