Tales of World War Z

A very good read on what would happen in a worldwide Zombie outbreak, and how humans would (evuntully) defeat them and the mistakes made.

The Living Dead
A really big short story collection. Lots of fun.

These are the only Zombie books i've read, and I enjoyed them both.

Anyone read

"PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES - THE CLASSIC REGENCY ROMANCE, NOW WITH ULTRAVIOLENT ZOMBIE MAYHEM!"

by Jane Austen & Seth Grahame-Smith.

I can see on IMDB that maybe a movie will be made around 2011.

Sounds cult.

Angra, I picked up P&P&Z, but have yet to read it. Worth it for novelty value alone, though. ;)

I would second the recommendations made above, and add Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry. Aptly described as a "neonoir-thriller" by one reviewer, it's a reality-grounded (kinda... :P) book about Islamist terrorists seeking to unleash a zombie virus on the US, with the covert aid of a billionaire pharmaceutical executive. It's bloody and tense, with just the right amount of black humor throughout.

You may also want to try Day by Day Armageddon by J.L. Bourne...
