Have you filed your income taxes yet?

I just finished filling out our taxes and sending them in.

I was showing Dustin how to do it, just in case he wants to do it at some point or so he can do it after I'm dead...Because if he wastes money to PAY someone to do the taxes, I'm gonna come back and haunt his ass :p

Anyway...As I was almost finished, he said "Give me that"...I said "Hold on"...He said, "I just wanna put the sticker on the return"

I laughed because it made me think "I just wanna put the sticker on The_Return"

HAHAHA...Kinky, huh? :D

So, anyway...Do you owe this year or are you getting a refund?...Did you do better than last year (owe less or bigger refund)?...Have any special plans for your tax refund?

We have to put a new roof on the house...I hope the refund will be enough

I'm just glad it's finally done...I put it off for over a week (from the time Dustin got his W-2s)...I can't imagine waiting until April 15th and making the mad dash like many people do.

Its easier if you got it all planned out with your tax consultant. Fortunately mine is as efficient as a well-oiled Ford. Charges high for his high efficiency, though, but its worth his price.

Heh...I am my 'tax consultant'...But, I'm sure that our taxes are much less complicated to prepare than yours are :)

You have no idea. The reason why I have my own tax consultant.

Last year we owed a ton because my wife was 1099'd and we actually THOUGHT she was having taxes taken out. The company she worked for did something screwy and thanks to direct deposit she never caught it. This year should be much better. I'm still waiting on property tax and mortgage papers before I file though.

I have my appointment with the accountant set for 2 weeks from Sat. My biz is really wierd and the filing process is tricky... but I get to deduct movie tickets, DVDs, comics, books and even some music as research materials!:D

Yeah, I don't understand why anyone would wait until then to file; although one of my neighbors-he's really elderly likes to wait until he piles up a few before he files. You know how they come annually ? Well last year he did, 2004, 2005, and 2006 together. So he probably won't file this year but next to do 2007, and 2008 at the same time. I didn't think people could do it like that, but he's been doing it that way for years and hasn't got into legal trouble.
