Good DVD shops in Australia ?
First great forum you guys and gals have here :)
Just wanted to hear from any Oz members where there getting there rare OOP print horror and other dvds from ?. |
Hi Trapjaw, I'm not in Australia at the moment, what state are you in, I might have some sugestions, but mostly I used to go through second hand at rental stores or indipendant music stores...

Hello Disease, Im in Sydney City.
|
I haven't lived in Shitney for about 5 years... There was a good mail order in that town I used to get stuff from though, I can't think of the name of it... but try faster pussy cat in Newtown for cult movies......
I'll try to remember the mail order place... if they are still around. |
What kind of dvd titles are you looking for, like, I mean any particular titles?
(Sydney too) I'd probably go with 10 seconds down - Chatswood Revolution cd, and any of the second hand book/dvd/record shops - Pitt St, Sydney...the shops aside from revolution cd are more towards central station. Hit up the book shops between the George st cinemas and Central station too, they're pretty good, find a lot of tapes and dvds there. Also, a place (if it's older tapes you're looking for) that I've found great is the multiple "charity" shops like Salvation Army/St Vincents, some have dvds too...but yeah I'm surprised at the amount of stuff I've found doing the circuits, pretty cheap too. |
Thanks for that guys will check that out. Phalanx if you collect VHS tapes PM as i just found a place selling cheap horror titles.
|
Sorry i should have added also if anyone knows of any video shops or places selling old VHS tapes in Sydney ?
|
Yeah, same applies for vhs in most of the places I mentioned, in fact theyre predominately vhs, but yknow, the rarer the title, the more likelihood you'll get it on vhs it seems especially for horror.
Sur,e pm me the place you found. |
