Chili
Are there any other chili fans here?
I really developed a taste for it after eating Chili Crab in Singapore in the early 80's. These days, I love most chili dishes - mexican, indian, etc. Great stuff. Currently, I am growing (attempting to grow :) ) a few types of chili from seed: Naga Jolokia White habanero Flourescent purple Tabasco Jalapeno Have grown habanero and jalapeno before. So, do others here enjoy chili? Any particular varieties? Discuss all things chili! :D |
I used to love chili but now thanks to acid reflux I can no longer eat it unless it's dulled down to almost a tastless crap.
|
Oh man that's unfortunate.
Reflux is a serious problem though, so best off looking after it. Still, it would suck to not be able to indulge in spicy food. |
The purples are very good for salads.
As I've just been given a hydroponic setup (heh, a birthday "surprise") that I'm not supposed to know about yet **lets hear it for very obvious friends** I might be trying out some in there, yknow among other things. My purple kind've got butchered, grew too many chillis and wiped itself out a bit...it's still alive and well, just small and not really doing much. I saw the (?not sure of name) black round ones growing on an almost purple tree at the local organic markets, I'll be buying one of those soon. |
used to love it as well .... but lately i cant get into it.
too heavy and bulky |
love it.....gonna make some this weekend.
