hey..i'm not sure if this goes here..well.its a book..but.. a book about movies..lol..anyone ever read this..i found it at Barnes and Noble...and i'll probably buy it..http://search.barnesandnoble.com/boo...0047498&itm=11 not sure the link will work..but.. go to Barnes and Noble. and look for this book..

Yes it sure does. Not even close 101 good movies in it and written for 6th grade reading level.

thats a shame - i used to love fango and would have bought this book in a heartbeat if i hadnt seen the warnings ...

I do have a lot of other excellent books on horror and if i ever get them unpacked i'll post a list.

all i can remember now is 'Midnight Movies' or something like that.

dealt a lot more with cult films like rocky horror but there were a lot of cult horror mentioned too ..

Well..i havent bought it..and ,guess i wont now,if it sucks that bad. Can anyone suggest any books on horror that DONT suck?

Check out The Monster Show, by David Skal.

It's got some holes in it, but it's a great history of horror from the turn of the century through the 1950s (it runs longer, but that period is the book's strength).
