Well, it's nice to see that this has been a big hit with all of you.

Is the link not working or something? I thought you would really get into this...

Vodstok 04-19-2004 05:37 AM

I came into this one out of curiosity. The possible cause for no replis: I am on a t3, and the download took a while (slow server i suspect. Everyone else on earth is downloading it)

But i have to agree. It looks awesome. I have never played any of the silent hill games, but have been VERY curious about them. it looks very atmospheric. I love the cuts that look like they were taken from an old movie.

Good call. Thanks for the link. That movie will stay on my hard drive.

Yeah. I agree. Way cool:cool: :)

I personally cant wait till this game comes out along with Siren and Resident Evil 4.....and BloodRayne 2.......PS are they gonna make another Blood Omen?

Arioch 04-19-2004 07:46 PM

I was never a really big fan. I played the first one but bad camara angles and frustrating controls proved a far scarier reality than the games atmosphere or monsters lol

SoulEater 04-27-2004 12:23 AM

Vodstock: Your explanation would make sense; the trailer is hosted by Konami and people are all over it. I'm glad you liked it.

Arioch: Yeah, the original had a lot of geat ambitions, but their execution was often crippled by gameplay issues. Even so, I've gotten over that fact and I really enjoy it. Have you tried any of the others?

Arioch 04-27-2004 12:48 AM

No i havent played any of the new ones Soul, just the first one. I heard the subsequent ones were much better.

SoulEater 06-04-2004 04:59 PM

Aesthetically, yes. The graphics have been massively improved since 1999's modest offering. Unfortunately, as much cannot be said about the control scheme. Two games later and we're still stuck with the same fingers-taped-together feel of the first game. Though combat is still a minor aspect of Silent Hill's beauty, here's to hoping for a break with the fourth.

Here's another link for the "Silent Hill 4: The Room" movie...I wasn't able to download this from the link that SoulEater provided (not his fault) so I googled and found this one...

Silent Hill 4: The Room

...kinda sucks I'll have to wait 'til September for this to come out.
