Types of Horror Film
 

I was just thinking about what different types of horror films there are. At the mo, I can only think of:

Slasher - e.g. Halloween, Friday the 13th Psycho (!?!)
Monster - Films in the same vein as Alien, e.g. Mimic
Big Monster - King Kong, Godzilla, most of the old 50s films like the blob
Loadsamonsters - e.g. Dawn of the Dead, Aliens, Arachnophobia

The Exorcist and the Sixth Sense are one of a few I can't really classify.

Are there ne other types?

Whodunit (sorta)
Supernatural
Thriller
Snuff
Revenge
Psychological
Giant Monster
Zombie
Vampire
Werewolf
