Favorite Hero in a horror flick
Okay, Who do you like best from the "good guys" in horror flicks. Of course, there will be many, many votes for Ash. I agree.
I've also always loved Ripley from the Alien movies. And I have a soft spot for Jim in 28 days later. i have to respect any man who would pound a guys head into a brick wall 5 or 6 times, then jam his thumbs into his eye-sockets until he quits struggling :) |
My favourite would be Lisa Wilcox as Alice in NOES 4 & 5 - she just got a better story arc than Nancy did.
Charlie in Fright Night was a great everyman - although William Ragsdale annoyed me in other things. Barbara in the NOTLD remake put the original version of the character to shame. Roger in Dawn Of The Dead was very cool - it was a shame he died! Yeah yeah yeah - ASH!!! :D And let's not get into the who hates who loves Ash thing - that's another thread! |

Ripley when she is not goofing around (did anyone say Alien Resurrection?)
I also liked Lance Henriksen as Bishop. I really am looking forward to seeing him again in that role in Alien vs Predator, and I've seen that he also has a part in Hellraiser: Hellworld. Well anyway Lance is cool in any role :p Derek in Bad Taste. Maybe one of my favorites, just because he has a personality like my own, haha Max von Sydow in Sleepless and The Excorsist not to forget. Loomis is also one of my favorites, beciase I really enjoy the acting of Donald Pleasance, and ofcause just love it when he speaks the word evil :p Uhh there is a lot, but better stop here. Well could also mention Pinhead, but that depends on how you see him. He may be a hero to some... if you find pain and suffering delightful ;) |
