Anyone in here ever read the book, then see the movie? I read the book twice about 5 years before it was made into a movie. It was upon seeing said movie that i

1) felt ripped off because i actually paid to see it in a theater

2) realised that if Ben Afflek isnt starring with Matt Damon or kevin smith, he should not be allowed in front of a camera.


3) Peter o'toole shopuld have retired after lawrence of arabia.

Wow... Either no one saw it, or it was so horrible, no one wants to comment on it....

But I'll be nice and help ya out! Never read the book but have seen the movie. It started off really really well but slowly turned shite! It was most disappointing really.

I read the book, and thought that it was a pretty neat idea. I did not see the movie, however, as it had Rose McGowan, and I refuse to watch her poor excuse for acting.

Ha ha, she is a bit weird! And to be honest I couldn't even of told you she was in it! I remember Liev Shrieber (sp?) and crappy Ben Affleck and Peter O'Toole????

DO NOT SEE IT THEN! PLease, do yourself a favor. Remember the 12(?) year old? That is Rose Mcgowan... The 40+ sherrif? Ben Afflec.. It could not have been a worse piece of shit if it were a film of a piece of shit. Really.

Oh don't worry. I saw that bitch's name on the poster and said, "Nope." Funny thing, she was like, twenty during that movie. Like you said, that little girl was like twelve or thirteen.
