What chance does The Exorcist IV have?
 

There's been so much written about all the huge production problems this movie has had. Anybody reckon it's got any chance now of being a hit? I think it's gonna just go the way of The Sin Eater/The Order, regardless of whether it's any good or not. Certainly doesn't look good, looks kinda boring going from what I've seen in magazines and online. Yet hopefully it'll do an Exorcist III on us and surprise us.

Man I have heard so much shit about this movie it isnt even funny. I am somewhat looking forward to it. when it comes out it comes out .. just sick of hearing about it.. LOL

i can't see how the exorcist can fail even though it's more & more watered-down with each sequel. exorcist still carries a following, but not like jason or freddy. i thought 3 was awesome, but of course none will match 1.

it's a sequil, so I'm going on the assumption that it won't be as good as the first, so I'll judge its chances based on the other sequils. I'm hoping it'll be another part 3, since another part 2 would be...sickening

i have only seen the first 2 films. hopfully this will be better than number 2. i am looking forward to seeing it.

Yeah, I think everyone kinda wants it to be better than #2....
I saw that, and only had two thoughts during the entire film, over and over again...."what the fuck is going on" & "man, this shit is boring"....never saw #3 either....sleepaway, is it worth a watch?
