Not sure if this is old news or not. I just found it.

This is getting to the point of pathetic. A second installment in this franchise was bad enough. The fact that no one really cared about the first movie to begin with, really was enough that a lot of people never even watched the sequel. Now a third one is already finished. Do people really care enough about this silly franchise to keep on producing them? I mean come on, they are like rabbits!

The second film in this series took it to another level, but it still wasn't anything worth the time to watch it. Very predictable and full of cheap thrills. Nothing we haven't seen before. So why a third one?

I'm sure I'll end up watching this one as well. But only because I review movies, and this is one I'm sure the site is going to need.

I'm starting to think any movie with "Boogeyman" in the title, is doomed to failure.

Just like you, enough people will watch it to make it profitable.

And thats one of two reasons for the release of this straight-to-DVD sequel.

The other reason being, some people actually liked the 2nd part, and tossed recs around. And bingo, it made SOME money.

I never said I was going to pay anything to see it. People send me screeners, and I also get free viewing of movies sent to me by the guy I write reviews for. ;)

I personally thought the second one was even worse.

As far as modern day slasher flicks go, I didn't think #2 was that horrible. I'd never call it a good movie, but I didn't hate it nearly as much as the first.

Still, a third one seems a bit much...

Straight to video sequels don't even go away if we ignore them.

MAN the first one sucked. I think the Boogeyman in this one looks pretty creepy though. but Still MAN the first one sucked.
