I prefer a little originality and variety, myself

maybe cause the radio only plays shit like Britney Spears, BackDoor Boy band shit, and other talentless stuff...

I don't listen to the radio. If I do, I turn it to the 70's station, but that's only when my dad turns the radio on to something besides sports.

there use to be this cool online radio station called Parasol Radio, but it's closed done :(

they need the shit that people will buy

it all comes from one place.. no matter where you are. you think when you call in and request a song, they will play it. fact is, if they DO play it, its a coincidence. song lists are already genereated

I never listen to the radio, I mean why would I? You can't pick up Radio Disney here anymore - I'm in protest! :D Actually if I HAD to listen to the radio I'd prefer older stuff. I hate all the crappy talk between songs and rubbish phone in shit that just interupts the tunes.

Everything played on radio is determined by big-wigs in california. They even coordinate the playlist. It has nothing to do with us the listeners and everything to do with sponsors and money.

Its a shame its such a crucial part of the industry, especially with the growing conglomorate ClearChannel building a monopoly on radio stations.:rolleyes:
