Black Mesa - trailer of the Half Life remake

The original Half Life is often called the best PC FPS game ever, and many agree. Valve released a direct sequel called Half Life 2 in 2004 using the brilliant "Source" technology, and since then fans have been thirsting for a new/revised version of the original using the new engine.

Valve as a developer had to move on to other ventures, so a few fans decided to take matters into their own hands and remake the cult classic, and decided to call it Black Mesa. The game has been in the making for some time now; finally, a full trailer has been released. Trust me, you won't want to miss this.

Black Mesa won't require Half-Life: Source to play. So long as you have any Source Engine game on your PC, you'll be able to download and play this amazing total conversion when it comes out.

2009 just got better.

Release date: Sometime after Duke Nukem Forever and the End of All Existance, probably right around Hell Freezing Over.
