Is this normal?

Yesterday I rented Ginger Snaps on DVD from Hollywood Video and when I opened the case it said Screener not for sale or rental on the DVD and during the movie words would pop up saying for sales screening only I loved the movie though I was just curious.

If you want to lodge a complaint against the rental company, you can send an email here: [email protected]

Or you can call 1-800-662-6797.

If you rented it from Hollywood Video, then it's either an accident or someone rented their copy, swapped stickers with a heat gun, and switched their screener for the real thing. A big chain video store could care less about a little STV movie like Ginger and wouldn't even bother with the hassle of renting a screener. Plus, the manager of the store would get fired if Hollywood found out he purposely rented out a screener. Just let them know about it when you return it. Or don't do anything; that's what I'd do.

That reminds me...

I need to see Ginger Snaps.

Yeah maybe I should report it because if I don't maybe the next person to rent it will and people might think that I switched the movie. Thanks everyone :)
