Legend of the Seeker
 

Has anyone here read terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth novels? They're very well written, amazing books.

Well the other day my boyfriend found that they made a TV series out of the books. They're directed by Sam Raimi and from what we saw in the trailer the action and everything looked amazing. We were stoked to watch it and had to find an American channel to watch it on, and it aired so late at night here.

So NOT worth it!

They changed the story, the characters were wimpy compared to how they were written in the book and they sacrificed so much story in order to progress things quickly for tv audiences.

Basically, if you've read the books avoid the show. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, give it a watch. Good action fantasy adventure. Also, it was hosted by Xena.
