Prayers are needed

My brother Sean is going to have to have chemotherapy again, and possible surgery. He is 15ys old,and he has tumors on his brain and spine. The chemo that he will have, there's a slim chance it can cause a strain of leukemia. The options were talked about today and well it's either chemo, radiation,or nothing, and tommorw there going to talk more on if they are doing surgery or not.

Please keep him in your prayers.

Hes in my prayers <3

May many blessings come forth your way for your brother. Although I think radiation would be the best--because radiation terminates most if not completely all cancer symptoms--or at least I know someone personally who underwent radiation and his cancer is gone; he know just suffers from a heavy and chronic case of Emphezemma because he has smoked and dranked for over 50 years to this day. He doesn't drink anyway but smokes every 15 minutes...I'm not trying to distract anyonoe from your thread; just wanted to indicate that radiation may seem to be the best treatment.

Wow, 15. I mean cancer sucks at any age, but 15, holy crap. He most certainly will be in my prayers, and you and your family too. You'll all need strength to help fight this together. Stay strong and keep us posted.

Update: He is having surgery tommorow on his brain, not his spine because the tumors are in his spine not on it.Thats about all I know at this moment,as soon as I know more I will let you all know,he will be in the hospital for about a week.

That's a horrible situation,but I'm glad he's having surgery.I wish him the best.

Update: ok...He had his surgery friday. It went well and he is still in the hospital, but he is recovering just fine. Were trying to decide,if were doing therapy up here or back home, but he'll probably be in the hospital till the end of this week.

Try to be positive. Cancer patients typically have considerable improvement in their conditions when everyone around them is laughing and being festive. Make sure he's being the same way. Life is short, make fun of it.
