The Official Favorite Soup Thread

In case some kind of shit goes down, I feel it's important you all know my favorite soup. It's New England Clam Chowder. Minestrone comes close. Who else would like to share their soup preferences? I realize this is an invasive question and some people don't wanna end up on a big soup enthusiast mailing list, but it will foster a sense of community as well as ameliorate trouble should it come up. Remember, New England Clam Chowder.

but for some reason i can force down miso soup - or lemon grass (with shrimp) thai soup.
