Fantastic horror in a game

I searched and found an old thread on this game, but it never went beyond the first post.

Has anyone ever played They Hunger (1-3) for half-life? Half life itself was a fantastic game, but they hunger was a mix of George A Romero, and the return of the living dead movies.

I have never had anything make my skin crawl liek that. I would sit alone in my apartment and play it, occasionally looking over my shoulder to make sure nothing was there.

Go here for the actual site:

It's pretty cool, Niel Manke made it after a freind suggested it, and it went on to be a trilogy rather than just a one part mod. I have known some people that werent impressed by it, but if you ever jumped playing doom or quake, it will make you paranoid.
