Friday the 13th UNCUT coming soon on DVD!
 

Yep. I got to attend the Friday the 13th cast reunion Q & A panel yesterday at The Scare Fest in Lexington, KY and it was officially announced that the upcoming Friday the 13th special edition DVD will be fully restored and will be in the form of a directors cut with extended sequences and extended gore sequences etc! Should be awesome. The Q & A was filmed and will be featured on the DVD as well.

I wonder if My Bloody Valentine will get a uncut release one day?

Not sure. But knowing Paramount, it will depend on how successful the remake is.

Apparently there's a shitload of footage sitting in their vault. Its a shame because its a great flick.

Were a bunch of the Friday The 13th flicks cut? I've heard The Final Chapter and The New Blood were butchered to fuck for an R rating.

Part 7's sleeping bag death scene was heavily censored look for the uncut one on youtube

This is awesome news, can't wait! It deserved this for so long. Now let's see if any of the others that need an uncut version like MY BLOODY VALENTINE, gets it.

The recent release of The Burning did well so it could be on the cards but I'm not holding my breath.
