epic scenes.

what are some of you're favorite epic scenes? Im talking about perfect film making scenes. ones where the musical score, the acting, and the direction all fit together perfectly and send chills down your spine.
The final scene in The Dark Knight when Batman is running from the cops with the intense musical score and Gary Oldman's voice in the background "He is not the hero Gotham City needs, but one it deserves. He is a Dark Knight" or something like that. both Times i've seen it I got chills.
Every single time I see the epic showdown at the end of the Good The Bad And The Ugly with Morricone's epic score I get shivers.
The scene in raging bull when Deniro's in the jail cell is highly powerful as well, mostly because of lighting and Deniro's flawless acting.

anyone have any favs like these?

When travolta shoots the guy in the car in Pulp Fiction.

I'd consider that more of a funny (well done none the less) than epic scene.

I don't know if I'd consider it epic, but the hallway scene in Exorcist III always sends a chill down my spine. The way it's filmed, the absolute lack of music. It just lulls you into a comfort zone and then destroys you at the end. It helped make it my favorite movie of all time.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

The scene when McMurphy started the commentary for the world series & spread the 'excitement' on others...that was mind blowing! And obviously the unforgettable ending scenes of this masterpiece enlightens the same class.

Robert Michum in Cape Fear where hes explaining what he did to his wife - great acting, chilling dialogue. Scary.
